A letter from our founder

When I founded Birbals Inc. in 2003, I had a simple belief: technology should do more than solve problems. It should create possibilities, improve lives, and turn ambitious ideas into reality.

My journey began in a small village in Punjab, India, far from the technology centers of the world. That experience shaped a belief I still carry today: where an idea begins matters far less than how boldly you’re willing to pursue it.

Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of building Birbals alongside talented people, navigating extraordinary changes in technology, exploring emerging ideas, and transforming ambitious concepts into real products and businesses.

Through it all, one principle has remained constant:

Technology is most powerful when it serves people.

That philosophy continues to guide how we think at Birbals. We don’t pursue innovation simply because something is new. We look for meaningful problems, question conventional approaches, and ask whether technology can create a better way forward.

Today, artificial intelligence is opening possibilities that would have seemed unimaginable only a few years ago. I see this moment not simply as another shift in technology, but as an opportunity to rethink what we can build and the impact those ideas can have.

I remain as excited about creating today as I was when Birbals began.

There is always another problem worth solving, another idea worth exploring, and another possibility waiting to be built.

The question that continues to inspire me is the same one that started this journey: What if we could make something better?
